Who is Connor in one sentence?

I’m an adventurer who’s obsessed with testing my limits, exploring the world, and finding a great coffee along the way.

Where are you from, and how long have you been in Vancouver?

I moved from Toronto to Vancouver in 2020 for what was supposed to be a month, but the easy access to adventure, nature and community has kept me here 5 years and counting. Love it here!

What are some of your go-to spots around the city?

I’m a big coffee shop guy and Vancouver has some amazing ones. I love riding my bike to Café Isetta in West Van, taking the Aquabus over to Café Oidé near Granville Island, or walking to the always-lively Kits Beach Coffee in Kitsilano. All great spots.

A lesser-known or under appreciated local gem?

Bowen Island. It’s just a quick 20-minute ferry ride from Vancouver and it’s perfect for a day trip that feels like you’re really getting away for a full reset.

Who or what in the city inspires you most right now?

I’m inspired by the wellness focused entrepreneurs shaping the future of Vancouver. Specifically, Peter at Tality Wellness. A community focused hot and cold cycle spot that keeps me (and many others) coming back to what matters: the present.

What are you up to in life at the moment?

I’m working on a documentary called Chasing Antarctica. It follows my journey to become the first person to complete that Iron-distance triathlon on all seven continents, while highlighting the incredible people I met, the struggles along the way, and what it really means to dare to dream.
